Pressure gauge base

The pressure gauge base provides a secure and standardized mounting interface for installing pressure gauges in hydraulic circuits, pump manifolds, and test points where a direct port-mount or hose-end mount is impractical or undesirable. The base incorporates a hydraulic port on the inlet face that connects to the circuit pressure source, and a threaded gauge mounting port on the top face that accepts the standard gauge connection fitting, allowing the gauge to be positioned vertically for optimal readability regardless of the orientation of the hydraulic port in the circuit.

The base body is manufactured from material compatible with high-pressure hydraulic service and resistant to the corrosive conditions of industrial environments. Sealing is provided by precision-machined port faces with appropriate sealing elements, ensuring leak-free performance at the rated circuit pressure. The base can be used as a fixed mounting point on pump housings, manifold blocks, test rigs, and hose assemblies where a gauge connection point is required, providing a stable and vibration-resistant platform for gauge installation compared to direct hose-end mounting.

The pressure gauge base simplifies gauge installation and replacement during maintenance by providing a permanent, properly oriented mounting point that remains in place when the gauge is removed. It also protects the gauge from the shock loads transmitted through the hydraulic circuit by providing a degree of mechanical isolation between the circuit pressure connection and the gauge case. Compatible with all pressure gauges in the hydraulic tool accessory range, and available in NPT, BSP, and metric threaded port configurations to match the hydraulic connections used in specific equipment.
