CD Series Dust-Protected Wear-Resistant Double-Acting Jack

The CD series dust-protected wear-resistant double-acting hydraulic jack provides active hydraulic force in both extension and retraction directions, eliminating reliance on spring or gravity return and enabling controlled and powered retraction of the piston rod. This bidirectional hydraulic control is particularly valuable in applications requiring precise load positioning, controlled lowering under load, or repetitive cycling where the speed and force of retraction must be managed — capabilities that single-acting jacks cannot provide.

A specialized dust ring sealing system prevents contamination ingress into the hydraulic cylinder, protecting the piston rod and cylinder bore surfaces from particulate wear that significantly extends seal life and cylinder service intervals compared to standard designs. The precision guide ring design prevents direct contact between the piston rod and the cylinder inner wall during off-axis loading, effectively eliminating the metal-to-metal wear that causes cylinder bore scoring and rod surface degradation under eccentric loads. The baked-paint surface finish adds external corrosion protection.

All CD series jacks are fitted with NPT 3/8 quick-connect fittings and dust caps. An internal safety relief valve prevents overload pressure damage to the cylinder. Bottom mounting holes provide secure and convenient fixed installation options for applications requiring the jack to remain in a defined orientation relative to the machine structure. Interchangeable hard-treated grooved saddles are standard equipment for load surface interface flexibility. Custom eccentric load heads and purpose-specific jack designs are available for specialized applications.
