CSS Series Compact Threaded-Plunger Single-Acting Slim Jack

The CSS series compact threaded-plunger single-acting slim jack provides a low-profile lifting solution with the added capability of a threaded plunger end, which allows optional special saddle accessories to be screwed directly onto the plunger tip. This threaded connection expands the range of load-bearing interface options available to the operator, enabling customized contact configurations for irregular load surfaces, concave contact points, or applications requiring a fixed plunger-to-load attachment rather than a resting contact.

All CSS models are equipped with NPT 3/8 standard quick-connect fittings and dust caps, and models rated at 50 tons and above include integral carrying handles for handling convenience. The grooved plunger end face design — shared with the CSM in providing slip-resistant contact — eliminates the need for a standard saddle in most applications while the threaded bore adds the option to install specialized attachments when required. Anti-corrosion baked-paint surface finish is standard across the series.

The compact and lightweight construction makes the CSS series practical for mobile maintenance and service operations where minimizing transport weight and setup time are priorities. The single-acting spring return system ensures reliable piston retraction on every cycle. Compatible with the full range of CP series electric hydraulic pumps and HAP/HSP manual pumps.
